US Releases French Detainees

Four French citizens, who had been held at Guantanemo Bay, Cuba without trial for more than two years, were returned to France on Tuesday. They were immediately detained by French authorities. Officials on both sides of the Altantic continue to negotiate over the release of an additional four French citizens. Learn about Geneva Conventions.
