Public to Bush: Yawn

Nielsen ratings show only 19.3 million viewers tuned in to President Bush's speech Tuesday night. The speech was broadcast live on CBS (5.77 million), NBC (5.30 million), ABC (4.97 million) and FOX (3.09 million). The January State of the Union speech captured 26.6 million viewers on the big four networks. The US population is approximately 300 million.
