One Step Closer to Apology

The Senate Committee on Indian Affairs has moved Senate Joint Resolution 15 out of committee favorably without amendment. The resolution "offer[s] an apology to all Native Peoples on behalf of the United States." There has been no action on the corresponding House Resolution since its introduction in January.
