Rove to Testify for Fourth Time

Thursday October 6, 2005
Federal prosecutors have invited Karl Rove to provide 11th hour testimony before the grand jury investigating the leak of CIA officer Valerie Plame, according to AP. Lawrence O'Donnell, at the Huffington Post, believes this means Rove's attorney thinks Rove will be indicted. Bob Luskin told AP:
I can say categorically that Karl has not received a target letter from the special counsel.
O'Donnell contends "that prosecutors do not have to send target letters to targets." O'Donnell is former chief of staff, US Senate Committee on Finance.

Needlenose is focused on the loose ends associated with Vice President Cheney's chief of staff "Scooter" Libby. The liberal blogosphere [here, here, here and here] is full of rumor about impending indictments. The grand jury adjourns at the end of the month.
