Dover School Board Tossed; Pat Robertson Warns of God's Wrath

Voters in Dover, PA (map) have tossed out their eight school board members because of a controversial policy dealing with the teaching of intelligent design and evolution. The policy launched Dover into the national spotlight; a court case challenging the policy is under review. CNN reports that Pat Robertson "told citizens of [Dover] that they had rejected God by voting their school board out of office for supporting 'intelligent design' and warned them Thursday not to be surprised if disaster struck.
