The Republican Veep Contest

Tuesday June 10, 2008
Both parties have their presumptive nominees for president. Next comes the vice presidential selection. Tom Head discusses how this campaign will define Republican Sen. John McCain (AZ). Justin Quinn offers a draft Gov. Sarah Palin (AK) campaign. Curious about Gov. Palin? Check out Linda Lowen's profile. Is it feasible to have both halves of the ticket from the American west?

(1) Palin for VP! says:

Geography matters very little in today’s politics. Palin balances McCain in many ways, so it’s not a big problem that she is from West of the Mississippi. Plus, McCain is from the Southwest, whereas Palin is from the Pacific Northwest. As a “hockey mom”, she could be used accross the Northm from Maine to Minnesota to Michigan to Oregon.
