Political Truce: The Seventh Anniversary of 9-11
I welcome the truce, but I wish they had decided, instead, to stay home and watch Charlie Wilson's War, with its foreshadowing of Afghani militants and its message of the perils of drive-by foreign aid, aid delivered solely by the Pentagon.
And what, if anything, will either candidate do to dissuade those Americans (41%) who told Princeton Survey Research last June (2007) that they believed "Saddam Hussein’s regime was directly involved in planning, financing or carrying out the terrorist attacks."
Who wants to place a bet on how soon an image from Ground Zero makes it into an advertisement (web or TV)?
