What Is The Randy Cunningham Scandal?

Infamous Washington, DC Scandals

From About.com

Over a five year period, then Rep. Randy Cunningham (R-CA) secured $70-80 million in earmarks from the House Intelligence Committee. These earmarks were for his two co-conspirators in one of the largest bribery schemes in recorded congressional history.

Other contemporary scandals: US Rep. Tom DeLay (R-TX) was indicted in a campaign finance case and was forced to step down from his role as majority leader. Vice President Dick Cheney's former chief of staff, I. Lewis "Scooter" Libby, was indicted -- and convicted -- in the Plamegate investigation.

This list of articles provides an overview of the Cunningham investigations.
