Brief Bio:
John Edwards was born in South Carolina and graduated from
law school at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1977.
In 1998, he was elected to the US Senate. In 2004, he was the vice
presidential candidate for the Democratic Party. His top two issues
are health care and poverty.
